William D. "Bill" Pyle, 66, of Topeka, passed away Friday, January 21, 2022.

He was born June 21, 1955, in Hiawatha, Kansas, the son of Bill G. and Della M. (Larson) Pyle.

Bill graduated from Sabetha High School in 1973. He went on to attend Emporia State University where he obtained his Bachelor's Degree.

He worked as a Computer Software Developer for Canberra for 31 years.

Bill was a member of the Optimist Club of Lawrence.

Bill married Terrie McKeever on May 29, 1976 in Topeka, Kansas.

Survivors include his wife, Terrie of Topeka; his daughter, Melissa Pyle of Topeka and his sister, Diane Pyle of Lawrence. He was preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Lisa King of Lawrence and his son, David Pyle of Topeka.

Bill loved his family. He was a Born Again Christian. He enjoyed traveling and going on cruises. He was also an animal lover.

A visitation will be held from 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm on Friday, February 4, 2022 at Dove Cremations and Funerals - Southeast Chapel, 2843 SE Minnesota Ave., Topeka, Kansas 66605.

A funeral ceremony will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, February 5, 2022 at the Dove Cremations and Funerals - Southeast Chapel.

Interment will follow at Sabetha Cemetery in Sabetha, Kansas.
