Carol I. Buehler, 70, of Holton, KS, passed away Sunday, February 27, 2022 at Onaga Hospital in Onaga, KS. She was born December 25, 1951 in Holton, KS the daughter of Loren P. and Cora Lee (Hundley) Dibbern.

          She graduated from Jackson Heights High School in 1970. She was a lifelong member of the Holton community. She worked at Holton Community Hospital for over 29 years and Walmart for 24 years.

          Carol was a member Circleville Christian Church, Holton Hospital Auxiliary, Eagles Auxiliary Post 3417 – serving in all positions. She was on the Jackson County Committee for Relay for Life many years, participating for 25 years.

          She married Darold Jay Buehler on January 18, 2003 at the Circleville Christian Church. They celebrated over 19 years of marriage.

          Survivors include her husband, Darold Jay of the home; 3 step-daughters, Tammy Hennes of Clearwater, KS, Charla Carroll and Denise Hennes both of Emporia, KS; 2 step-sons, Chance Buehler and Loren Buehler both of Kansas City, MO; sister, Linda Walder (Carl) of Delia, KS; 2 brothers, Kenny Dibbern (Joan) of Holton, KS and Paul Dibbern (Sheri) of Netawaka, KS; 11 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild; many nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews and Darold Jay’s nieces and nephew, all of whom she loved with all her heart.

            Carol was preceded in death by her parents; 1 brother, Ray Dibbern and 1 sister, Patricia McMurphy.

          Memorial Graveside Service will be at a later date at Holton Cemetery. Mercer Funeral Home in Holton is in charge of arrangements.
