Frankie Lewis Britt, 81 of Horton, Kansas, passed away on Thursday, March 3, 2022 at the University Of Kansas Health System-St. Francis Campus in Topeka, Kansas.

He was born on August 17, 1940 in Lego, West Virginia, the son of Abie Lewis and Maggie Gray Britt. Frankie worked as a crane operator for Rockwell International in Atchison for over thirty three years before retiring. He was a member of the Church Of The Lord Jesus Christ in Horton, Kansas, enjoyed fishing and working on cars in his garage. He married Delores Hall on December 6, 1967 in Kentucky. She preceded him in death on October 1, 2017. Frankie then married Patience Grier Bigham on June 16, 2018 in Horton, Kansas.

Survivors include his wife, Patience Bigham of the home, Horton, Kansas; daughter, Margaret Smith of Horton, Kansas; sister, Betty Britt of Carbondale, Kansas; three stepsons, Vincent (Gina) Grier of Tonganoxie, Kansas, Dominic (Linda) Grier of Hiawatha, Kansas and Erik Grier of Lawrence, Kansas; stepdaughter, Glennda Grier and Shawn Graf of Ranchester, Wyoming; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; a close family friend, Joann Armstrong of Carbondale, Kansas. He was also preceded in death by his parents, two sons, Steven Britt and Robert Stiegler, two brothers, Howard Britt and John Britt, sister, Emma Gannaway and stepson, Steven Grier.

Memorial services will be at 11:00 A.M. on Monday, March 7, 2022 at the Church Of The Lord Jesus Christ in Horton, Kansas. Inurnment will be at the Horton Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Church Of The Lord Jesus Christ or the American Cancer Society and may be sent in care of the Dishon-Maple-Chaney Mortuary.
