Charles J. “Chuck” Hall, Jr., Ph.D., age 76 of San Antonio, TX (formerly Pawnee City), passed away Monday, April 11, 2022, at Methodist Hospital in San Antonio, TX.

Survivors include his daughter Sarah Moses and grandchildren Jacob and Kenneth Moses of DeKalb, IL; sisters Joanie (Stan) Strohm of Marshall, NC, and Patricia (Trish) Merrill and husband Mac White of Austin, Texas; several nieces, nephews, and cousins; other relatives and friends.

A graveside funeral service will be held Saturday, April 23, 2022, 11:00 a.m. at Prairie Union Cemetery near Shubert. A luncheon will follow at Prairie Union Baptist Church across the road. Visitation will be at Hemmingsen Funeral Home in Auburn Friday 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., with family greeting friends 6:00 to 8:00.
