Darrell Allen Martin, 75, of Holton, KS, passed away Tuesday, June 7, 2022 in Holton. He was born May 17, 1947 in Topeka, KS, the son of Darrell Milton and Bonnie Lou (Arnold) Martin.

          Darrell graduated from Lecompton High School in 1966. He proudly served in the United States Army from 1966 – 1968, during the Vietnam War.

          He was an over-the-road truck driver for many years, retiring from Price Trucking in Topeka on January 1, 2006.

          Darrell married Sandra Lou “Sandy” Cochran on May 17, 1980 in Holton, KS. She was the love of his life; she preceded him in death on October 11, 2020. He was also preceded in death by his parents, Darrell and Bonnie Martin.

          Survivors include his sons, Robert Martin of Tijuana, Mexico and Christopher Christie (Jessica) of Topeka, KS; mother-in-law, Doris “Jean” O’Neal of Holton, KS and 4 grandchildren, Reagan and Jaxson Christie, Trenton Henery and Emily Martin.      

           Memorial Graveside Service with Military Honors will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, June 16, 2022 at the Holton Cemetery. Memorials may be given to the Holton V.F.W.
