Harold William Bolz, of Meriden, KS, died Tuesday, September 27, 2022 at Heritage Gardens Nursing Center in Oskaloosa, he was 98 years young.  Harold was born April 12, 1924 at Meriden, the son of Amos W. and Gladys Penry Bolz.  He attended the Rinwood School in rural Meriden where he was raised. He started farming in his late teens and remained a farmer and rancher in the area where he grew up. He was also a self employed carpenter for many years.  Harold enjoyed hunting and fishing  and playing his guitar, playing in a group that provided entertainment for nursing home residents in the area for many years. He also played in the Kansas Old Time Pickers, Fiddlers and Singers for many years.
 He is survived by a brother, Harvey Bolz of Meriden and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Amos and Gladys Bolz, two sisters, Helen Brooks and Hazel Kennedy.
