James (Jim) Everett Noble, 75 of Hiawatha, KS passed away at his home early Thursday morning on September 29, 2022.

Jim was born on February 3, 1947 in Axtell, KS to Everett Kyle Noble and Rita (Mohlman) Noble. Jim attended school in Sabetha, KS, where he spent most of his younger years. Jim was a truck driver at heart. He started driving a truck at 14 years old and never stopped. His trucker handle was Buckwheat. He drove for numerous truck lines in the 50 some years he drove a truck. He loved being out on the road and seeing all of the different states. He definitely knew his way anywhere. He married Sharon Loyd on December 23, 1971, in this union they had a daughter, Charleen White and two step sons, Jamie (Sherry) Levret of Tecumseh, KS and Mark (Tricia) Levret of Powhattan, KS. They later divorced but still remained friends.

He is survived by his daughter, Charleen (Bill) White of Hiawatha, KS. Four grandchildren Kyle White of Hiawatha, KS, Alysha (Chuck) May of Horton, KS, Christian White of Fall City, NE, and Cody White of Manhattan, KS. Seven great grandchildren JLynn, Peyton, Bella, Abby, Kolson, Trey and Oliver. One brother Tom (Becky) Noble of Moore, OK. Two sisters RoxAnn Grier and Susan Noble of Hiawatha, KS. Special friends Sandi and Randy Rolston of Arizona and numerous nieces and nephews. Jim was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Tim Noble and a nephew, Jason Noble.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 A.M. on Monday, October 3, 2022 at the Dishon-Maple-Chaney Mortuary in Horton, Kansas where the family will greet friends on Sunday from 4:00 to 5:30 P.M.
