Gary L. Fisher, Sr., 72, of Rulo, NE, passed away October 10, 2022 at Rulo. He was born March 11, 1950 at Falls City, NE, to Lester and Dorothy (Gerweck) Fisher.

He married Margaret Strecker on October 16, 1971 at Rulo, NE

Gary was raised at Rulo and graduated from Falls City High School in 1968. Following graduation he attended the University of Nebraska at Lincoln for 1 year and then returned to Rulo and helped farm the family farm with his father. He had also worked at Woodings-Verona and W.A.S. P. He retired for health reasons in 1991. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, gambling, teaching his grandchildren to hunt and fish.

Gary is survived by his wife, Margaret of Rulo, children, Gary Lee Fisher, Jr. and his wife Staci of Wilber, NE, Angie Eldridge and her husband Bob of Falls City, sister, Pat Bauman and her husband Dave of Verdon, NE, grandchildren, Arielle Hynes and her husband Brett, Karsen Fisher, Chris Coonce and his significant other Bailee Schueth and Wyatt Coonce. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Kathy Mumm

A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 14, 2022 at 10:30 AM at Dorr and Clark Funeral Home.

The family will receive friends on Thursday from 7-8:00 PM at Dorr and Clark Funeral Home.
