Dean Edward Robinson, 91, of Mayetta, KS passed away Saturday, January 7, 2023 at Midland Hospice in Topeka, KS. He was born October 11, 1931 in Holton, KS, the son of Johnie Edward and Bessie (Ray) Robinson.

Dean graduated from Holton High School in 1949. After high school Dean served his country in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. He was a lifelong farmer and stockman. Dean and his wife owned and operated D&R Robinson Construction since the 1950-, and their son Randy continues the business today.

He was a member of St. Dominic Catholic Church in Holton, as well as the V.F.W. Post 1367.

Dean married Ramona Devader on October 13, 1951 at St. Dominic Catholic Church in Holton. They celebrated over 71 years of marriage.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Johnie and Bessie Robinson; 3 sisters, Reba Morgan, Bonita Mirowski, and Leona Edwards; an infant granddaughter, Misty Robinson; and beloved dog, Patch.

Survivors include his wife, Ramona, of the home; a son, Randy Robinson (Kathy) of Mayetta; 2 daughters, Vicki Robinson, of Salina, KS, and Deb Robinson (Danny) of Tampa, FL; a brother-in-law, Robert Devader; 2 sisters-in-law, Renetta Vaught, and Rosalie Boling; 5 grandchildren, Steven, Rhayme, Theresa, Breanna, and Katie; 11 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
