Amy Lee Goodpasture, 92, of Atchison, KS died on Sunday, January 22, 2023, at the Atchison Senior Village.

A Memorial Celebration of Life service will be held at 10:00 am on Monday, January 30th, 2023, at the Becker-Dyer-Stanton Funeral Home, 800 Kansas Ave, Atchison, KS. Private interment of cremated remains will be in the Oak Hill Cemetery, Atchison. Memorial contributions are suggested for a special bird feeder project for Atchison Senior Village and may be sent in care of the funeral home. Amy was born on April 12, 1930 in Maysville, MO the daughter of John and Viola (Merit) Burton. She attended schools in Maysville, MO. Amy was a housewife and homemaker. She was a charter member of the Faith Bible Fellowship Church and enjoyed spending time with her family and grandchildren.

She was married to Jesse E. Goodpasture on October 10, 1946, in Atchison, KS. Mr. Goodpasture preceded her in death on March 20, 2011. Her parents, a son Jesse L. Goodpasture, and three daughters, Marilyn Sue Chatman, Lois May Thompson, and Carol Jean Martin, daughter-in-law Sharron Goodpasture, son-in-law Larry Thompson and Richard Earl also preceded her in death.

Survivors include three daughters Lola L. “Renne” Earl, Atchison, KS, Donna R. (Jim) Wood, Atchison, KS, and Linda K. (Glenn) Ballard, Rushville, MO, a son John D. (Pat Fitzpatrick) Goodpasture, Trimble, MO, Twenty-four grandchildren, Thirty-two great grandchildren, One hundred eighteen great great grandchildren and Eighty-two great great great grandchildren.
