Eugenia Rose Freeman, 91 passed away on Friday, February 24, 2023 at her home in Reserve, Kansas.

She was born on February 3, 1932 in Horton, Kansas. Jean was the daughter of Anthony Wapp and Columbia "Jada" Herrick Kabeah. She graduated from Chilocco Indian School. She worked as a meat cutter for Safeway and was a member of the Sac-N-Fox Tribe.

Jean is survived by a sister, Celia Goslin; two granddaughters, Christina Bears and Brianna Watkins; and five great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her daughter Bridgett Reppert.

Funeral services will be at 10:00 A.M. on Saturday, March 4, 2023 at the Dishon-Maple-Chaney Mortuary in Horton Kansas. Burial will be at the Kabeah Family Cemetery on the Kickapoo Reservation.
