Larry Maddox, age 67 of Shubert, passed away unexpectedly Saturday, April 1, 2023, at the Community Medical Center in Falls City.

Survivors include his wife Gerri of Shubert; sons and daughters-in-law Adam and Amy of Shubert, Josh and Amanda of Shubert; grandchildren Addy, Taytum, Caroline, Tannar, Liam, and Tyden; brothers and sisters Genny Maddox of California, Diane Maddox of Nebraska City, Carol Simmons of Nemaha, Doris (Jerry) Barnard of Lincoln, Gary (Pat) Maddox of Auburn, Jean (Terry) Reeves of Peru, Mary Davis of Shubert, Alice (Gary) Alexander of Auburn, Pat (Don) Wamsley of Nemaha, Kenny (Tamara) Maddox of Madrid, NE; mother-in-law June Brown of Shubert; brothers-and sisters-in-law Gary Brown of Lincoln, Rick Brown of Lincoln, Keith Brown of Gering, Tracy (Kari) Brown of Phoenix, AZ, Leigh Ann Brown of Wahoo; many, many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

A funeral service will be Wednesday, April 5, 2:00 p.m. at Hemmingsen Funeral Home in Auburn. Burial will follow in Nemaha Cemetery at Nemaha. Visitation will be at the funeral home Tuesday 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., with family greeting friends 6:00 to 8:00.
