Beverly Fuhrman

Beverly Ann (Rosenhoover) Fuhrman, 95, of San Antonio, Texas formerly of Horton, Kansas passed away on April 9, 2023 at her home in San Antonio, TX.

Beverly is preceded in death by her husband Robert Francis Fuhrman and siblings Lorraine Bechtold and her husband Jack, Charles Rosenhoover and his wife Betty, Rita Henning and her husband Carl, and Ralph Rosenhoover. Beverly was born May 6, 1927 in Horton, the daughter of Albert and Ethel (Freeland) Rosenhoover. She was a member of St. Leo- Catholic Church. Beverly never lived more than six miles from Everest during her first 91 years of life. Beverly moved to San Antonio, TX in Oct 2018 to be closer to family members. Beverly married Robert (Bob) Fuhrman on November 4, 1947 in Everest. She was a stay at home mother, lovingly dedicated to her family while her children were, younger and still in school. She and Bob purchased a grocery store in Horton, KS and ran that business from 1959-1969. Also, she was a bookkeeper for her husband- business, G&F Oil, in Everest KS from 1964-1993.

Survivors include three sons, Gary (Eileen) Fuhrman, Philip Fuhrman, Craig (Janet) Fuhrman, all from San Antonio, TX; two daughters, Marilynn (Russell) Dunn, Savannah, TN and Barbara (Chuck) Varwig, Jasper TN. She is also survived by sister-in-law Betty (Rosenhoover) Chamberlin, Warsaw MO and Jane Rosenhoover, Colorado Springs, CO. Her grandchildren are Mary (Ray) Rivera, Melissa Young, Melinda (Shawn) Flue, Hannah Fuhrman, and Jason (Kelly) Dunn. Great grandchildren include Patrick (Samantha) Cunningham, Andrew (Victoria) Young, Seth Flue, Madison and Riley Rivera, Anna Jane and Brody Dunn and three great-great-grandchildren Logan and Harper Cunningham and Landon Young. Beverly remained in close contact with good friends Karen Hypse, Everest KS and Janice Lott, Horton KS while living in San Antonio.

A rosary will be recited at 10:00 A.M. on Thursday, April 20, 2023 at the St. Leo's Catholic Church in Horton, Kansas with a funeral mass to follow at 10:30 A.M. Burial will be at the St. Leo- Catholic Cemetery. A special message may be sent to the family at www.dishon-maple-chaney.com
