Edward " Glenn" Fetty

Edward "Glenn" Fetty, 73, lifetime resident of Horton, Kansas, died Thursday evening May 4, 2023 at the Hiawatha, Kansas hospital.

Glenn was born in Atchison, Kansas on November 18, 1949. He was the son of Ralph G. Fetty and Norma Lou Brown Fetty. Glenn grew up in Horton and attended Horton schools. Glenn joined the United States Air Force in 1968 and was in the service for 8 years, serving time in Okinawa and Vietnam.

Mr. Fetty married the former Golda Eva White on June 20, 1971. They made their home in Horton after his military service ended. Glenn worked various jobs after leaving the Air Force and spent many years as a security guard at the Golden Eagle Casino where he was working when he retired.

He is survived by his wife, Eva of the home, a son Michael Fetty (Connie) of Hiawatha and a daughter, Denise (Gary) Lawrence of Muscotah, nine grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Two sisters, Sharon Sue Snyder, Enoch, Utah and Maydean (Bob) Tilton of Cibolo, Texas and many nieces and nephews and numerous friends.

Military graveside rites will be at 10:00 A.M. on Saturday, May 13, 2023 at the Muscotah Cemetery.
