Victoria Rose "Saageshkoqua" Castro, 72, Topeka, Kansas, formerly of Horton, Kansas passed away on Wednesday, May 10, 2023 at the St. Francis Hospital in Topeka, Kansas.

She was born on January 20, 1951 in Pawnee, Oklahoma the daughter of Leonard Castro and Minnie Sacquat. She attended the Chilocco Indian School and the Riverside School in Oklahoma. Victoria worked for the Golden Eagle Casino and the Sac-N-Fox Casino in the Housekeeping Department. Victoria was the backbone of our family and was very dedicated to her family. She was loved by many. She also loved to travel and attend Pow-Wow's. AHO.

Survivors include a daughter, Elaine Green of Horton, Kansas; two sisters, Cynthia Buzzard of Jay, Oklahoma and Winona Arnold of Sacramento, California; brother, Bernard Castro of Emporia, Kansas; seven grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren with one on the way. She was preceded in death by her parents, her beloved daughter, Jacqueline Castro, brothers, Nathaniel Masqua, Thomas Masqua, and Stanley Castro, sisters, Irene Cashman and Rosita Castro-Pena.

Viewing services at sundown on Friday, May 12, 2023 at the Kickapoo Community Building. Burial services will be at 9:00 A.M. on Saturday, May 13, 2023 with burial to follow at the Kennekuk Cemetery. A special message may be sent to the family at www.dishon-maple-chaney.com
