Jeremiah “J. J.” Scheele, 43, of Falls City, NE, passed away May 19, 2023 at Falls City. He was born January 22, 1980 at Milaca, MN to Timothy and Sandra (Hughson) Scheele.

J. J. was raised at Milaca and graduated I. C. S. He then became a roofer in the Champlin, MN area, working as a subcontractor. He moved to Falls City in 2003 where he worked for Froeschl Construction and also did roofing for Ed Harris. He was a member of Valley Avenue Baptist Church.

J. J. is survived by his daughter, Sandra Scheele of Hiawatha, KS, father, Tim Scheele of Falls City, sisters, Jessica Scheele of Falls City, Alicia Scheele of Champlin, MN, Heather Slominski and her husband Tim of Kansas City, MO and a grandfather, Albert Scheele of Minneapolis, MN. He was preceded in death by his mother.

A celebration of life will be held on Friday, May 26, 2023 at 2:00 PM at Valley Avenue Baptist Church with Pastor Chad Berry officiating. Inurnment will be at a later date.
