Joe "Bob" Kidd, Jr., 69, of Everest, Kansas was born on October 21, 1953, in Upland, California.

The son of Joe Bob Kidd and Marcelene Lucille Stevenson, he passed away peacefully in his home surrounded by family on May 31, 2023.

Bob married Sue on May 27, 1988 in Eureka Springs, Arkansas. He was a kind man with a witty sense of humor that enjoyed spending time with family and friends, playing the guitar, listening to music, and collecting coins. He was a Clinical Laboratory Specialist with the U.S Public Health Service for many years before his retirement.

Bob is preceded in death by his parents and sister, Sarita Cooper.

He is lovingly remembered by: his wife, Sue Kidd; sons John-Paul Kidd and Alex McAfee (Nikki) daughter Kate Stanger (Clay); grandchildren McKenzie, Alexis, Skylar, Christian, Isabella, Brayden, Roman, Jetta, and Clara.

Memorials may be made to the NEK Home Health and Hospice.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, June 24, 2023 at the Dishon-Maple-Chaney Mortuary in Horton, Kansas.
