Robert “Bob” Lea Cloves 76, formerly of Atchison, KS, passed away Wednesday, June 14, 2023, at Lamoni Specialty Care, Lamoni, IA.

Funeral service will be 2:00 PM, Saturday, June 17, 2023, at the Becker-Dyer-Stanton Funeral, with Rev. Bob Kraus officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1:00 to 2:00 PM at the funeral home. Memorials are suggested to Lamoni Specialty Care and may be sent in care of the funeral home. Bob was born Dec. 13, 1946, in Atchison, KS, the son of Malcolm Troy and Barbara Leticia (Langworthy) Cloves. He graduated from Atchison High School in 1964. Bob worked at Ayers Auto Part and then Napa for twenty years. It was said he was the best parts man around, loved to work on cars, go fishing, play cards and pool, there wasn’t a pool hall he didn’t know and wasn’t known at. Robert was member of the First Baptist Church, Atchison, KS.

Bob married Connie Sue Holthusen, they later divorced. He married Deanna Chase Mullins they later divorced. Survivors include his daughter, Lori and Marty Young, Blythedale, MO, a brother Dennis Dean Cloves, Overland Park, KS, a granddaughter, Ashly Paige Young, two great grandchildren, Emmett Wayne Miller, Presley Raylynn Miller.

He was preceded by his parents and brothers, Donald Smith, Marvin and Richard Cloves, sisters, Betty Daum and Joan Smith.
