Margaret Jane Dodge, 80, of Everest, Kansas, passed away on Tuesday, June 20, 2023 at her home in Everest, Kansas.

She was born on December 22, 1942 in Holton, Kansas the daughter of Clarence and Nora May Marshall Jacobs.

After graduating from high school she married Gerald Dodge on July 28, 1963 in Everest, Kansas. She was a homemaker and helped take of the elderly in the Everest, Kansas area.

Survivors include two sons, Allen Dodge of Jacksonville, Florida and Leroy Dodge of Everest, Kansas; five grandchildren and six great grandchildren; two sisters, Etta Mae Matthias of Horton, Kansas and June Talbot of Des Moines, Iowa and a brother, Floyd Jacobs of Muscotah, Kansas.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Gerald, two daughter-in-law-, Elena Poe Dodge and Jennifer Lynn Dodge, sister, Martha Butterfield, two brothers, Donald Jacobs and Dale Jacobs.

The family will greet friends on Saturday, June 24, 2023 from 1:00 to 2:30 P.M. at the Dishon-Maple-Chaney Mortuary in Horton, Kansas. A private family burial will take place at the Horton Cemetery.
