Megan Elizabeth Gracey, 40, of Effingham, KS died on Saturday, October 7th, 2023, at the Midland Hospice House, Topeka, KS surrounded by her family.

Private Family Funeral Services will be held on Friday, October 13th, 2023, at the Becker Chapel, Effingham, KS. The family will receive friends on Thursday, October 12th, beginning at 6:00 pm until 8:30 pm at the Becker Chapel, Effingham. Memorial contributions are suggested to the Effingham Union Church Building Fund, or the Atchison County Community Schools Education Foundation (ACCSEF) and they may be sent in care of the Becker-Dyer-Stanton Funeral Home who is handling the arrangements. Megan was born on March 18, 1983, in Atchison, KS, the daughter of David and Elizabeth (Hawk) Todd. She graduated as Valedictorian and a Governor- Scholar from ACCHS in 2001. She attended Kansas State University earning her bachelor- degree and her master- degree in accounting. Megan worked as a C.P.A for the former Kramer- & Associates, in Leavenworth, KS and then for USD # 377 as the Board Clerk, and Business Manager and Para. She was a member of the Effingham Union Church. Megan enjoyed reading, knitting and spending time with her family and her boys. Megans greatest joy came from her two boys. She was very proud of them, and she looked forward to watching all of their accomplishments from her front row seat in Heaven.

She was married to Kelly Gracey on September 29, 2012. Kelly survives at their home. Additional survivors include two young sons Dawson and Deacon Gracey of the home, her parents David and Elizabeth Todd, of Effingham, four brothers Jared (Megan) Todd, Wamego, KS, Dallas (Chelsie) Todd, Rossville, KS, Jordan Todd, Denver, CO, and Derek Todd, Effingham, KS. Her maternal grandparents Duane and Mildred Hawk, Effingham, KS. Her paternal grandparents Clarence and Marjory Todd preceded her in death.
