Gerald “Jerry” Schuetz, 62, of Preston, NE, passed away November 24, 2023 at Falls City. He was born November 18, 1961 at Falls City to Willard and Helen (Werner) Schuetz.

Jerry was raised in Preston and attended elementary school in Preston and graduated from Falls City High School in 1981. Following graduation, he farmed with his brothers and did construction work. He also enjoyed, gardening and canning, hunting, fishing, the outdoors and barbequing.

Jerry is survived by his brothers, Loren, Larry and Warren all of Preston, sisters, Helen Carpenter and her husband Alan of Salem, Alice Bentley and her husband Jeff and Sandy Schwarting and her husband Jeff all of Falls City, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Brian.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, November 29, 2023 at 2:00 PM at Steele Cemetery with Tim Campbell officiating.

Open visitation and viewing will begin Monday evening at Dorr and Clark Funeral Home.
