Sharon Lynn Hurst, 60, of Everest, KS, passed away Tuesday, November 28, 2023, at her home surrounded by her family.

Memorial service will 10:30 AM, Wednesday, December 6, 2023, at the Becker-Dyer-Stanton Funeral Home, with Rev. Seth Montgomery officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM, Tuesday, December 5, 2023, at the funeral home. Sharon was born November 3, 1963, in Atchison, KS the daughter of Keith Harden and Marie Jones. She graduated from ACCHS in 1982. She worked as a cosmetologist early in her life, then a Certified Nurse- Assistant. Sharon also worked as a packer, and housekeeper for Blish-Mize. She was a member of Lancaster Church of faith, she enjoyed flowers, camping, and loved being a mom and grandma and had a love for her fur-babies.

Sharon married Mark Hurst on July 20, 2013; he survives of the home. She is also survived by a son John Earl IV, McLouth, KS, a daughter Maggie and Josh Gray, Effingham, KS, sons Dustin Hurst, Topeka, KS, Tyler and Rebekah Hurst, Effingham, KS, her mother and siblings, three grandchildren, Carlee Paige Hurst, Emma Joy Gray, Journey Sage Gray and cousins, nieces and nephews.

She was preceded by her father Keith Harden and stepfather Bill Corkins.
