Jocylene Margueritte Strube, 56, of Holton, KS, passed away unexpectedly, Wednesday, January 3, 2024 at her home. She was born October 27, 1967 in Ames, IA, the daughter of Jacque Motte and Donna K. (Flockhart) Brewer.

Jocylene graduated from Madison High School and attended trade school. She worked in chemical cleaning for smoke and fire restoration, ran a plastic injection molding machine in Kansas City, was a food service worker for Holton schools, and was a house cleaner.

She married Scott Alain Strube on June 29, 2013 in Holton. He survives of the home. Other survivors include her sister, Dee Dee Thompson of Mound City, KS; brother, Kevin Kelley of Virgil, KS; sister, Robin Stitt of Eureka, KS and other extended family members.

Jocylene was preceded in death by her grandmother, Delia Evelyn (Gustafson) Flockhart; mother, Donna Brewer; brother, Andrew Brewer and sister Shannon Reynolds.

Jocylene was an honest, hardworking mother that tried her best to do the right thing. She enjoyed being an artist, a photographer, cooking, and gardening.
