Lois E. (Kirby) Owens, 73, of Atchison, Kansas passed away Wednesday, January 10, 2024 at her home.

Lois was born on October 7, 1950, in St. Joseph, Missouri to Richard and Florence (Gaul) Kirby.

She was the Library Director in Troy, Kansas for over 30 years.

Lois married Melvin Owens on September 5, 1970, at the Christ Lutheran Church south of Wathena, Kansas. He survives of the home. Lois was preceded in death by her parents, 2 sisters, Peggy Ratcliff and Louise Kirby.

Additional survivors include her children, Kirby Owens (Sue) of Topeka, Kansas

Nicole Randle (Kelly) of Troy, Kansas

Grandchildren, Thomas Owens, Kathryn Owens, Michael Taylor and Sky Taylor

Numerous brothers-in-law, sisters-in law, nieces and nephews.

There is no scheduled service.
