Marty Lynn Hoffman, 65, of Winchester, KS died on Friday, February 16, 2024, at the Heritage Gardens Healthcare & Rehab Center, Oskaloosa, KS

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, Feb.20th, 2024 at the St. Joseph Catholic Church, Nortonville with Fr. William Dun-Derry as Celebrant. Burial will follow in the Nortonville Cemetery, Nortonville, KS. A Parish rosary will be recited at 10:00 am Tuesday at the church followed by visitation until the time of Mass. Memorials are suggested to the Huntington Foundation and may be sent in care of the Becker-Dyer-Stanton & O’Trimble Funeral Home who is entrusted with the services. Marty was born on April 2, 1958, in Topeka, KS, the son of John C. “Jack” and Beverly J. (Bomhoff) Hoffman. He served in the United States Airforce after his discharge he studied Aviation Technology, worked as a mechanic for Lockheed Martin in Aircraft Maintenance before owning and operating Cross Country Aviation, Lancaster, TX. He was a member of the Corpus Christi Church, Mooney Creek, Sons of American Legion and American Legion Riders. He enjoyed riding motorcycles, ATVs, playing cards, hunting, fishing, playing golf and the lake. He also was a Dallas Cowboy, Kansas City Chiefs, and Kansas State fan.

He was married to Lizabeth Linss on May 24, 2008. She survives at home in Winchester, KS. Additional survivors include a son Joshua (Kayla) Hoffman, Burleson, TX, and a daughter Meridith Hoffman, Benwheeler, TX a brother Philip (Sherri) Hoffman, Nortonville, KS, and two grandchildren Braylon Hoffman and Andrew Hoffman. His parents, a sister Dawn M Hoffman and a brother Mark A. Hoffman preceded him in death.
