Anthony Douglas Lentz, 58, of Hiawatha, died March 7, 2024, at the Apostolic Christian Home. He previously had been a resident of Maple Heights Nursing Home in Hiawatha.

Doug was born February 22, 1966, at St. Joseph, Missouri, one of eight children born to Frank Benjamin and Beverly Mildred Alfrey Lentz and was a lifelong northeast Kansas resident. He grew up near Iowa Point in Doniphan County where he attended Highland Schools prior to graduating from Highland High School. Anything that needed to be done, he would do it! He worked at Walmart for 19 years before his health wouldn’t allow him to continue.
