Donna Jean Donaldson, 84, of Rushville, MO, passed away Thursday, March 14, 2024, at her home surrounded by her family.

Funeral service will be 2:00 PM, Tuesday, March 19, 2024, at the Becker-Dyer-Stanton Funeral Home, with Rev. Tim Champ, officiating. Burial will follow at Armstrong Cemetery, Rushville, MO. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM, Monday, March 18, 2024, at Becker-Dyer-Stanton Funeral Home. Donna was born May 28, 1939, the daughter of Elzie and Maryanna (Ledem) Zacharias. Donna married Jerry Donaldson on December 29, 1956. Donna and Jerry had four children together. Donna spent her adult years caring for the house and children. Donna was a member of Carol Baptist Church and Rushville Christian Church. Donna enjoyed working in the yard, planting flowers, building puzzles, making an assortment of things with beads, her dogs, and being around her family.

Donna is survived by son Jerry (Twila Stutz) Donaldson, Rushville, Mo and daughter Maryann (Wayne) Higley, Cummings, Ks, and grandson Kevin (Brandi) Trautloff, great-grandson Isacc Trautloff, great-granddaughter Makynna Gerardy, and step granddaughters Kylee McElroy and Danielle Otte. Donna is preceded in death by both of her parents, her husband, Jerry, a daughter Donna Louise Sonnenmoser, a son Terry Donaldson, brothers Elzie Zacharias, Archie Zacharias, Claude Zacharias, and Harry Hagon, sisters Delores Bush, Cheryl Wents, and Vanessa Akers.
