John Wade Martin Meranda, 2 years old, of Atchison, KS, passed away tragically Monday, May 6, 2024, at his home.

Visitation with the family will be from 1:00 to 3:00 PM, Friday, May 24, 2024, at the Becker-Dyer-Stanton Funeral Home with burial to follow at 3:15 PM at Sunset Memory Gardens, Atchison, KS. The family will have a celebration of life gathering following the burial at Warnock Lake. Memorials are suggested to final expenses and may be sent in care of the funeral home. John was born November 5, 2021, the son of John Matthew Meranda and Brooke Marie Martin. John had to start out as a fighter as he was premature born, but he soon became strong as Hulk and was known for his dinosaur RAWR! He spent most of his days playing with his favorite motorcycle, building forts outside, calling his grandparents, working with dad with his very own screw gun and snuggling with mom.

John is survived by his parents, Matt and Brooke of the home, maternal grandparents, Brent and Katy Martin, Atchison, KS, paternal grandparents, John and Gail Meranda, Atchison, KS, maternal great grandmother, Terri Nitz, paternal great grandparents Rollie and Lily Hundley, siblings, Evan Meranda, Destiney Martin, Dixie Martin, aunt and uncles, Melissa and Craig Lutz, Travis Meranda, Summer and Nikki Martin, Brett Martin, and many cousins.
