Lisa Marie Phillips, 64, of Atchison, Kansas died May 30, 2024, at her home surrounded by her family.

Funeral services will be 2:00PM, Monday, June 3, 2024, at the Becker-Dyer-Stanton Funeral Home with cremation following services. A rosary will be held at 6PM, Sunday, June 2, 2024, with a visitation following till 8PM, at the funeral home. Memorials are suggested to Valley Home and maybe sent in care to the funeral home. Lisa was born March 23, 1960, in Norfolk, Virginia, the daughter of Larry & Jean (Jewelsburg) Phillips. She served four years in the Navy and then served in the reserves. She worked at Valley Hope in Atchison, KS, and later served as a Chaplin for the facility. She was able to touch thousands of lives during her career. She had a very active life, embroidery, traveling, fishing, stained glass, crafts, collecting rocks, rose garden, dogs, cats, and was a member of AA for thirty-nine years. At one point she worked as an over the road truck driver. She had a special room in her home called the “Room Full of Good Intentions”. Lisa had a wonderful personality and was able to make friends with anyone she came into contact with.

Survivors include her companion, Pam Goodman, father, Larry (Glenrose) Phillips, Fullerton, Neb. brother, Bruce (Laurie) Phillips, Neiley, Neb., sisters, Linda (Walter) Brock and Jennel Steel, both of Fullerton, Neb. She is preceded by her mother Jean Phillips, her godson, Tanner Wolfe.
