Edythe Ann Myers, 87, of Everest, KS, passed away Sunday, June 2, 2024, surrounded by her family.

Funeral service will be 1:00 PM, Thursday, June 6, 2024, at the Becker-Dyer-Stanton Funeral Home, with Pastor Stephan Lucas, officiating. Burial will follow at Old Huron Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Wednesday, June 5, 2024, at the funeral home. Memorials are suggested to St. Jude- Children- Hospital and may be sent in care of the funeral home. Edythe was born April 4, 1937, in Old Huron, KS, the daughter of George E. and Wilda J. (Carson) Behler. She graduated from ACCHS. Edythe was House Mother for Atchison Juvenile Correctional Facilities. She was of the Baptist faith and a member of the Old Huron Memorial Club. Edythe was a jack of all trades fishing, sewing, baking, cooking, candy making and loved her grandkids, scrabble, puzzles and going to her sister- monthly luncheon.

Edythe married William E. “Bill” Myers on August 18, 1973, at the Carol Baptist Church, Atchison, KS. Bill survives of the home. She is also survived by two sons Raymond Albright, Atchison, KS, Roi Albright, Atchison, KS, a daughter Cheryl and Mike Petesch, Atchison, KS, four sisters, Leila McConnaughey, Everest, KS, Sharon Gladman, Independence, MO, Linda McCray, St. Joseph, MO, Pam Westbrook, Independence, MO, twelve grandchildren, forty-five great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren, multiple nieces and nephews she loved and care for.

Edythe was preceded by her parents, three brothers, Grimes, Paul, Kent Behler, one sister, Lois Betts, three brothers in laws, Conrad McConnauhey, Larry McCray, Ben Green, two sisters in law, Bette Behler, Mary Myers, one grandson in law, Travis Dodson.
