James Alfred Blalock Jr, "Shug", 50, passed away on June 6, 2024.
He was born April 4, 1974 in Claremore, Oklahoma the son of James Alfred Blalock Sr., & Leandra Gutierrez.

He was a member of the Peoria Tribe of Oklahoma, and Kickapoo Tribe in Kansas.

Survivors include his mother, Leandra Gutierrez, two sisters, Janelle Blalock and Josie Blalock. four sons, Tarin Blalock, Trent Blalock, Riley Blalock, and Ryen Blalock and two grandsons; Jasiah Blalock, Princeton Blalock, and one granddaughter, Aliyah, and many nieces and nephews, and his dog Chico.

He was preceded in death by his father James, and a sister, Anna Paulette Royal.

Native American Church Services will be held Tuesday evening, June 11, 2024 at the Kickapoo Community Building on the Kickapoo Reservation. Burial will on Wednesday, June 12, 2024 at the Kennekuk Cemetery on the Kickapoo Reservation.
