Norma “Joann” Frump, 88, of Severance, Kansas, passed away Friday, June 21, 2024, at the Wathena Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Wathena, Kansas.

Joann was born on January 5, 1936, in Elwood, Kansas to Norman W. Sr. and Mona (Kendall) Liechti.
She was a member of Troy Christian Church, Troy, Kansas. Joann worked for K-Mart, Wathena Nursing Home and was a volunteer EMT for the Elwood Ambulance.

Joann married Billy E. Frump on June 30, 1954, in Elwood, Kansas. He preceded her in death on August 6, 2017. She was also preceded in death by her parents, son, Billy Lynn Frump, grandson, Joey Frump, sister, Phyllis “Jean” Vincent and brothers, Ronald Liechti and Norman W. “Bill” Liechti Jr.

Survivors: children, Jack Frump (Sue), Gary “Joe” Frump and Christi Lysaght.
9 grandchildren,16 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchild.
Siblings, Marietta Burchett and Dennis Liechti.
Numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral Service: 10:30 A.M. Wednesday, June 26, 2024.
At the Harman-Rohde Funeral Home, Wathena, Kansas.
Visitation: 6-8 Tuesday evening at the funeral home.
Burial: Bellemont Cemetery, Wathena, Kansas.
