Benjamin Dale "Ben" Hall, 71, of Holton, KS, passed away Wednesday, February 26, 2025 at his home with family by his side. He was born January 17, 1954 in Holton, KS, the son of Benjamin J. "B.J." and Doris Ione (Hollenbeck) Hall.
Ben graduated from Lansing High School. He proudly served in the United States Airforce from 1973 - 1993, during Vietnam and Desert Storm.
He worked as a jailer in Brown Co, Assistant Chief of Police for Sac and Fox, Security Guard and later Level 4 Slot attendant for Harrah's/ Prairie Band Casino, he worked for Home Depot as Manager of Paints and Hardware Department and retired from Walmart in Lawn and Garden Department.
He was a member of Holton V.F.W. Post 1367 and Holton American Legion Post 44.
Ben married Monessa Lyrae Preslar on February 8, 1999 in Holton. They celebrated over 26 years of marriage; she survives of the home. Other survivors include 2 sons, Quentin Hall (Julie) of Gardner, KS and Lucas Hall; 2 step-daughters, Casandra Pixler and Amanda Pixler both of Manhattan, KS and 13 grandchildren, Devin, Eva, Austin, Theoden, Emma, Garrett, Landon, Corbin, Willow, Abbigail, Christopher, Charleston and Kaiya.
He was preceded in death by his parents, B.J. and Doris Hall and his son, Benjamin Travis Hall.
Graveside Service with Military Honors will be 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, March 4, 2025 at Holton Cemetery. Family will greet friends from 10:00 - 11:00 a.m. Tuesday morning at the Mercer Funeral Home in Holton. Ben will lie in state Monday, March 3, 2025 from 9:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
