Walter "Frank" Palmer, 83, of Falls City, NE, passed away April 30, 2025 at Lincoln, NE. He was born July 18, 1941 at Rulo to Walter and Lela (Harness) Palmer.

He married Connie Weddle in October of 1962 at Rulo and they were later divorced. He then married Cathy Rieger on August 24, 1982 at Falls City.

Frank moved to California with his parents at age 11 and graduated Sweet Water High School at National City, CA in 1959. Following graduation, he returned to Falls City where he worked various jobs until becoming employed by Falls City Auto Supply and then later worked for Henry Brothers Implement at Hiawatha, KS until retiring in 1998. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and helping his neighbors. He was member of Bethel Global Methodist Church, Falls City Elks Lodge, Millard American Legion Post 374 and the Reformers Car Club.

Frank is survived by his wife, Cathy of Falls City, daughters, Lisa Knobbe and her husband Terry of Omaha, NE, Lauri Auffert and her husband Dennis of Falls City, sister, Jesse Irene Anderson of Lincoln, NE, brother, Bill and his wife Debbie of Falls City, three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents.

His memorial service will be held on Friday, May 9, 2025 at 1:30 PM at Bethel Global Methodist Church with Pastor Mike Hader officiating. Interment will be in Bethel Zion Cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Thursday from 5-7:00 PM at Frank's Shop (located behind the family home at 1716 Crook St.).
