Jeannine Dell (Hayes) Fritz
Dorr and Clark Funeral Home of Falls City
Verdon, NE

Jeannine Dell (Hayes) Fritz, a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on May 27, 2025, at the age of 80, surrounded by her loving family at The Grace Space in Lincoln, Nebraska.

Jeannine was born on December 8, 1944, in Hiawatha, Kansas, to parents Robert and Lois Hayes. She grew up in Hiawatha and graduated Hiawatha High School in 1962.

She spent the majority of her life working in a factory setting at Flair Fold in Hiawatha, Kansas, and Armstrong in Auburn, Nebraska.

On September 10, 1967, Jeannine married Kenneth Fritz. Together, they raised three children, who will forever be grateful for her boundless love and support. Her nurturing spirit extended to her five grandchildren, Jacob and Allyssa Mez, Bradyn Schulenberg, Motega and Lakota Clancy, who brought her immense joy.

Jeannine had a love for flowers and had a passion for cheering on her children and grandchildren at their school activities. She liked her sweet treats—especially chocolate muffins. When she wasn't spending time with her family, she was caring for her beloved cats.

Jeannine is survived by her husband, Kenneth of Verdon, children, Janelle Ruda-Fritz of Morrill, KS, Kevin Fritz of Auburn, NE, Lori Clancy and her husband Travis of Hickman, NE, siblings, Joyce Allen of Hiawatha, KS, Janet Weber and her husband Alvin of Overland Park, KS, Donnie Hayes of Chandler, AZ, and Carol Brown of Hiawatha, five grandchildren, as well as her in-laws, cousins, nieces, and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Lois Hayes, brother, Larry Hayes, sister-in-law, Bobbe Hayes and son-in-law Kevin Mez.

Though her smile is gone forever, and her hand we cannot touch, we still have many memories of the one we loved so much. Her memory is our keepsake, with which we'll never part. God has you in his keeping, we have you in our heart. Sadly missed, but never forgotten.

Her funeral will be held on Friday, May 30, 2025 at 10:30 AM at Dorr and Clark Funeral Home with Pastor Kyle Helmick officiating. Interment will be in Mount Hope Cemetery at Hiawatha.

The family will receive friends on Thursday from 6-7:00 PM at Dorr and Clark Funeral Home.
