William (Bill) S. Jadwin, son of Billy John Jadwin and Bonnie Lou (Cummings) Jadwin-Hartley, passed away October 4, 2025 after a long illness.
Mr. Jadwin was born November 11, 1953 in Atchison, KS. Shortly after his birth the family moved to Sabetha, Ks. Bill attended school in Sabetha until the family moved to Bangkok, Thailand in 1968 due to his father's position as a foreign diplomat with the U.S. Department of State. Bill attended the International School of Bangkok until he graduated high school in 1971, after which he returned to the United States.
On May 20, 1973 he married Deborah Blanton of Hiawatha, Ks. The couple had three children.
Although they divorced in 1992, Deborah and Bill remained very close friends.
Known affectionately to many of his friends as the "Red Bull" or simply as "The Bull" he had worked at Harmon Tire Company in Falls City, Ne. Also worked at Flair Fold in Hiawatha KS. Later worked at Prime Trucking Company in Springfield, MO.
Bill returned to Hiawatha in 2003 after suffering a major strokes which left him permanently disabled where he lived until his passing.
He is survived by a daughter Staci (Randy) Thaxton of Hiawatha, Ks and two sons, Cory (Misty) Jadwin of Kansas City, Mo and Christopher Jadwin and friend Elizabeth Dudley of San Diego.
Bill is also survived by 13 grandchildren, Samantha, Drew (Kylie), Parker, Caitlyn, Tyler, Chase, Brookelyn, Mike (Tonja), Susan, Trent and Blake. 5 great grandchildren, Natalie, Anakin, Lucas, Benson and Michael.
He is also survived by three brothers, Dennis Ray Jadwin of Universal City, TX. Bradley John Jadwin of La Mesa, CA. and Brett Lough Jadwin of Greenwood, Ne.
Mr. Jadwin was proceeded in death by both his parents and an older brother Kelly Dean Jadwin of Lincoln, Ne
At Mr. Jadwin's request there are no funeral plans.
Memorial contributions are suggested in his name and may be sent in care of the Chapel Oaks Funeral Home, 124 S 7th St, Hiawatha, KS 55434, who is assisting the family with arrangements.
