William "Bill" Jahn

William “Bill” G. Jahn, 75, of Falls City, NE, passed away February 2, 2012 at Falls City. He was born August 29, 1936 at Falls City to the late Martin and Anna (Stump) Jahn.
On August 19, 1956 he married Charlene Wieting at Falls City.
Mr. Jahn was raised in Falls City and graduated from Falls City High School in 1954; following graduation he attended Milford Trade School. The couple lived in Falls City their entire married life. Bill had worked for Falls City Implement Company, Gambles, Falls City Auto Supply, Chaney Music Store & Sailors Construction before going into partnership with Mark Kreifels to form J&K Construction. Bill was an avid NASCAR and football fan, especially the Nebraska Cornhuskers. He was also a long time supporter of the Falls City Tigers. He was a member of Christ Lutheran Church, BPO Elks Lodge #963, and past President of the Falls City Jaycees.
Bill is survived by his wife, Charlene of Falls City, sons, Bill and his wife Nancy of Lincoln, NE, Mike and his fiancé Luanna Shields of Falls City, daughters, Kim McGinnis and her fiancé Paul Gransee of Mead, CO, brothers Keith of Purdum, NE, Don of Lawry, MO, sisters, Marjory Forney of Chandler, AZ, Bettie Ericson of Rapid City, SD, Midge Mason of Auburn, NE, Barbara Long of Henderson, NV, seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers Robert and Richard.
Memorial services will be held Tuesday, February 7, 2012 at 10:30 AM at the Christ Lutheran Church, Falls City, with Reverend Daniel Gifford officiating; inurnment in Steele Cemetery.
Family will receive friends on February 6, 2012 from 7-8 PM at Dorr & Clark Funeral Home.
