Gary Michael Wassenberg, age 55, of Humboldt, passed away at his home in Humboldt on Monday, December 23, 2013.

Gary is survived by his brother Robert Wassenberg of Lincoln, NE; sisters Patricia Burow and her husband Ken of Indianapolis, IN; Janet Ann Usher and her husband Dean of Lincoln, NE; Janice Sue Wassenberg of Lincoln, NE; and Shirley Bernecker and her husband Mike of Plainview, NE; and many other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Memorial Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, December 31, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Dawson, Nebraska with Father Kenneth Hoesing officiating.

A register book will be available to sign on Monday, December 30, at The Wherry Mortuary in Humboldt.

Inurnment will be at the Humboldt Cemetery with military honors conducted by the Offutt Air Force Base Honor Guard.
