David G. Teske, 47, of Onaga, died Thursday, January 16, 2014 near Manhattan in a tree cutting accident.

He was born April 17, 1966 at Oswego, the son of Dennis and Joyce Jepson Teske. He graduated from Onaga High School in 1984.

David worked for Kansas Hardwood in Belvue.

Survivors include three children, Nathaniel Wade Teske, Mesa, AZ; and Kaine Arnold Teske and Kiley Lynne Teske, both of the home; his parents, Dennis and Joyce Teske, Sabetha; a brother, Kirk Teske, Emmett; two sisters, Sherri Magnett (Charlie), Omaha, and Melody Craig (Dan), Sabetha; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, January 21st at the New Hope Lutheran Church in Onaga. Burial will follow in the Onaga Cemetery. David will lie in state Monday at the Chapel Oaks Funeral Home in Onaga, where family and friends will meet from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. Memorials are suggested to Kaine and Kiley’s Education Fund, and may be sent in care of the funeral home, P.O.
