Mary Jane Tanner age 86, of Shenandoah, IA, formerly of Peru, NE. Passed away on Tuesday, February 21, 2012 at the Garden View Nursing Home in Shenandoah. A funeral service for Mary Jane Tanner will be held Saturday, February 25, at 1:00 p.m. at the Hall Funeral Chapel in Auburn, NE. Burial will follow at the Mt. Vernon Cemetery in Peru, NE.

Visitation is scheduled for Friday, February 24, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Hall Funeral Chapel in Auburn.

She is survived by her son Gregory Lee Tanner of Bonesteel, SD; grandaughter, Luz Simons of Rock Rapids, IA; grandsons Clayton Tanner of Mandisen S.D. and Colter Tanner of Bonesteel, S.D. 4 great-grandchildren, two brothers Clair Comstock of Ralston, NE and Jerry Comstock of Gretna, NE, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
