Reta Bailey, 87, of Tecumseh, passed away Tuesday April 22, 2014, at Belle Terrace in Tecumseh, Nebraska. She was born to Fred E. and Opal A. (Hickey) Parrish on Oct. 5, 1926.

Survivors: husband, Wilburn “Tex” Bailey of Tecumseh, NE; sons: Fred Bailey and wife Barbara of Lincoln, NE; Dave Bailey and wife Brenda of Tecumseh; NE; daughters: Linda Speckmann and husband Orville of Tecumseh, NE; Connie Stinson and husband Ron of Lincoln, NE; Delores Vancura of Lincoln, NE; Jana Moore of Kansas City, MO; 11 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; one great-great grandson; sisters: Doris Sporhase of Lincoln, NE; Imogene Thies of Lincoln, NE; and several nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Graveside Inurnment Services will be held at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 26, 2014, at the Vesta Cemetery, rural Tecumseh. A Celebration of Life will be held at the First Baptist Church in Tecumseh, at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, April 26, 2014 with Pastor Hugh Giesbrecht officiating. Visitation will be at the Wherry Mortuary in Tecumseh, Friday, April 25, 2014 from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., with family greeting friends from 6-8 p.m. Memorials contributions may be given to the family’s choice.
