Clyde Milton Rieschick, 91, of Soldier, KS passed away May 11, 2014 at his home, surrounded by his family. He was born July 1, 1922 in Soldier the son of Henry Fred and Audrey (McKinsey) Rieschick. Clyde attended Soldier schools. He was a farmer and stockman.

He was a member and elder of the Soldier Christian Church, board member of ASCS Farm Services and Farm Bureau. He was past president of Soldier Lion’s Club, a member of Holton Bowling League and Kansas Twin Association.

Clyde married Elnora Langley on October 19, 1947 in Topeka. She survives of the home. Other survivors include 3 daughters, Rita Krause (Rick) of Great Bend, KS, Leah Kulczewski (John) of Wheaton, IL and Marty Williams (Henry) of Soldier, KS; a sister, Twyla Tribble of Houston, TX; a twin brother, Claude Rieschick (Betty) of Soldier, KS; 6 grandchildren, MacAdam Krause (Ashley), Gretchen Krause Rodriguez, Marty Kulczewski Philipchuck (John), Stacy Kulczewski, Tyler Williams (Jena), Reid Williams and 5 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by 3 sisters, Fern Chrisman, Faye Myer, Lois Wheeler and a brother, Keith Rieschick.

Funeral Services will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, May 16, 2014 at the Mercer Funeral Home in Holton. Burial will be in the Soldier Cemetery. Family will greet friends from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Thursday evening at the funeral home.
