Funeral service for Sam Thomas will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 20th and Towle, in Falls City.

Family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Wednesday at the Dorr and Clark Funeral Home in Falls City.

Survivors of Sam Thomas are: his wife Jane Thomas of Nebraska City; daughter Teresa (Brian) Hardy of Randolph, Iowa; son Tom Thomas and friend Meredith Flanagan of Arlington, Virginia; sisters Dorothy (Don) Sailors of Falls City and Linda (Dennis) Bauman of Falls City; 5 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
