Robert A.( Pete)  Peterson, 63, of DuBois, Nebraska, passed away at his home in DuBois, Nebraska on May 28, 2014. He was born to Robert John and Clara Mae (Strong) Peterson on April 3, 1951 in Emmetsburg, Iowa.

He is survived by siblings, Bill Peterson of Arizona, Grace Spencer and husband Carl of Colorado, Corliss Peterson-Garza and husband Robert of California, Susan Peterson of Laurens, Iowa and Tim Peterson of Washington, D.C, uncle, aunt, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Mary Peterson.

Robert donated his body to the Nebraska Anatomical Board. 

Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, May 31, 2014 at the DuBois Community Center in DuBois, Nebraska, with Rev. Ken Tubbesing officiating.
