04/16/2012

After several tornados made their way through Kansas over the weekend, regionally, there were only reports of minor damage to structures.

Atchison County Emergency Preparedness Director Wes Lanter reports that the early Sunday morning storms damaged a hay shed, a second shed and a grain bin at the Andrew Kanning residence at 9046 Greeley Road near Lancaster.

Jefferson County Emergency Preparedness Director Doug Schmitt only reported limb damage in various parts of the county from straight line winds that came in three to four hours before the actual storm.
