A Rulo, Nebraska man convicted on multiple charges in a Brown County case dating back to 2009 has been placed on probation.
David Davis, formerly of Falls City, was given a suspended prison sentence Monday in Brown County District Court on three counts of motor vehicle burglary and five counts of misdemeanor theft.
Davis was then placed on one year probation with community corrections.
He pleaded no contest last month to the charges as part of a plea deal. In exchange for the plea, six additional counts of motor vehicle burglary and three additional counts of theft were dismissed.
Davis was charged in connection with a rash of vehicle burglaries and thefts in 2009 in Hiawatha.
