John Lotter
The U.S. Supreme Court has denied an appeal from John Lotter for the full court to hear his appeal of his three first degree murder convictions.
Lotter, now 40, is on death row at the Tecumseh State Correctional Institution for the murders of Teena Brandon, Philip Devine and Lisa Lambert at a farmhouse south of Humboldt on December 31st, 1993. Lotter has been in prison since February, 21st, 1996.
In August a three-judge panel of the 8th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals rejected Lotter’s attempt to appeal his conviction, and his request for the full court to consider his appeal was denied at that time.
Lotter then appealed to the U.S. Supreme Court. The Supreme Court denied Lotter’s request without comment.
