A new phone system will be installed at the Nemaha County Courthouse in Seneca.
The Nemaha County Commission voted Monday to purchase the new system from Zen-Tel, Inc. for $28,373, which includes installation.
The new phone system will be paid for out of county capital outlay funds.
In other business, County Road and Bridge/Solid Waste Supervisor Dennis Ronnebaum advised commissioners he received written notice from Carolyn Jones that she is resigning her position in the Solid Waste Department effective May 18th.
Commissioners gave Ronnebaum permission to advertise to fill this position.
