The Southeast Community College Men’s Golf Team is in five-way tie for first place, following the first round of the NJCAA Division Two National Tournament in Plymouth, Indiana.
The Storm was one of five teams to shoot a six-over-par 294 at the Swan Lake Resort Golf Course.
Individually for Southeast, Caleb Harms is tied for 5th with an even-par 72, Alex Overfelt is at one-over par 73, Mike Downey is tied for 17th place with a 74, Calvin Freeman is tied for 26th at three-over par 75, and James Willis is tied for 38th place after a four-over 76.
Ryan Mulvany of Tyler, Texas, Junior College and Jared Smith of Mississippi Gulf Coast are the leaders after round one at three-under-par 69.
The National Tournament continues through Friday.
