Doniphan County has been awarded a more than 16-thousand dollar Historic Preservation Fund grant from the Kansas Historical Society.
The $16,200 grant will be used for a window preservation workshop.
Historic Preservation Grants were awarded for ten projects across the state.
A total of 13 requests were received totaling nearly $152,000. A committee review the applications and then made recommendations to the Historic Sites Review Board, who made the final determination.
